"But as for me, I will never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. The world has been crucified to me through the cross, and I to the world." Galatians 6:14, CSB
The cross is the place of a great reversal in human history. It is the place where glory is redefined, and love is made most evident. It is the place where the Immortal dies. It is where we must reassess what matters and the motives for our lives. It is the place where we are confronted with the fact that God does not exist for our glory but that we exist for his. It is where we are confronted with the fact that only through death can true life be found.
Join us as we journey together through Paul's letter to the Galatians. What Paul knows and what we can’t miss is the meaning of The Cross. The cross is where freedom was purchased and secured. We will explore what the gospel is, how the gospel makes a difference, and the type of life the gospel produces.
Most importantly, we will discuss how the gospel sets us free. We will discover that because of The cross—because of Jesus—we are free to live, free to trust, free to love, and most importantly, free to die because, through death, we are ushered into a world where death is not the end but a glorious new beginning into a free life with God.
